Mido Hussein earned his Bachelor of Arts from Cairo University and later completed his Master’s and PhD in Drama at the University of Vienna. Since the early 1980s, while based in Vienna, he has published various literary works.

Known by his nickname “Mido Hussein”, Abdelhamid Hussein is an Austrian–Egyptian Abstract Artist and Writer living in Vienna, Austria. Planning to relocate to Paris – France soon.
Influenced and inspired by American abstract expressionists and his studies on Greek mythology, Mido Hussein sees his paintings as a visualization of his own streaming memories.
